Youth club
Calvary Chapel Woolacombe runs two youth clubs; young people meet together as our Younger Youth Group (school years 3-6) and as our Older Youth Group (school years 7-11).
We believe all young people and children should be honoured, respected and protected. All of our Youth Leaders are DBS-checked (Disclosure & Barring Service) and Calvary Chapel Woolacombe has Public Liability Insurance to safeguard our time together. Parents and carers are also welcome to come hang out and have a coffee.
Younger Youth – school years 3-6
From Velcro darts to pool, mini hockey to arts and crafts: our Younger Youth Group is packed full of fun and games for children aged between 8-11 (Key Stage 2 or School Years 3-6).
As well as lots of running around and getting competitive (and some more peaceful activities!) we also go through Bible studies with our Younger Youth Group. The children and young people are given the opportunity to pray, ask questions and chat about life and faith too.
This Younger Youth Group begins at 6pm and ends at 7.30pm. Parents and carers are welcome to come along and chat together. (Free coffee also served!) And, of course, what Youth Group would be complete without a tuck shop! (Our tuck shop is strictly not-for-profit.)

Older Youth – school years 7-11
Are you the next Tony Hawk or Alexis Sablone? Our skate ramp may just be calling your name. Or maybe you’re a pro pool player or a top table footballer? Whatever your interests are, our Older Youth Group is for any young people aged between 12-16 (Key Stages 3 & 4, or School Years 7-11.)
With our Older Youth Group, we also dive a little deeper into the Bible. We want to give all young people the opportunity to ask questions and say what they think in a relaxed, no-pressure space. There’s also time to pray together.
The Older Youth Group begins at 8pm and ends at 10pm. There is, of course, a tuck shop for some snacks to keep everyone going strong on the ramp!
